Welcome to St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School.  St. Mary's does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, age, or national origin in the administration of its admissions process. Students who desire an educational experience founded on the Catholic philosophy of education and fulfill age, academic, and behavior requirements are eligible for admission to St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School.

Requirements for Completing the Application Process:

  • Application Form and Fee
Please mail completed new student application form(s) and fee(s) to:
St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School
    Attn: Debra Ryan
    1220 Monte Sano Avenue
    Augusta, GA 30904

The nonrefundable application fee is $350 for the first child and $300 for each additional child. This fee, due at the time of application, does not guarantee placement. It places your child on a list to be tested if space becomes available in the appropriate grade. The application fee may be refunded if your child is not accepted.

  • Age, Immunization, and Sacramental Documents
Copies of the student’s birth certificate, Baptismal certificate, transcript and educational testing, the Georgia Department of Health Certificate of Immunization Form 3231, and the Georgia Department of Health Certificate of Eye, Ear, Dental, and Nutrition Form 3300 are required once the application is received and accepted.

  • Placement Testing
All new students will be tested to ensure that the curriculum offered at St. Mary's will accommodate the child’s full potential and that he or she will be placed in the correct grade. Grade placement may be at the grade they are entering or below. Testing will be arranged once an application for admission has been received and it is determined that space is available for the student. The testing fee is $50 per student. The student's most recent report card and standardized test scores should be brought to the test if not provided before testing.

  • Stewardship Appointment
Families who are members of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church must schedule an appointment to meet with Martha Kearns at the Church Office to determine if you will be admitted under stewardship or tuition. Please call the Church Office at 706-733-6627 to schedule an appointment.
