Stewardship

Everything is a gift from God, and we are stewards or caretakers of these gifts. We are all called to develop our gifts and to share them generously with others. We are all called to be good stewards.

St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church has embraced a stewardship way of life. Stewardship is evident in our parish ministries where every ministry belongs to and is the responsibility of the entire parish.

Our parishioners practice stewardship when they reach out and help each other, our neighbors, the Augusta community, and beyond. We have grown in our love of Christ by sharing our God-given gifts of time, talent, and treasure. And, we have received, in return, much more than we have given.

We witness God’s blessings in so many ways at St. Mary’s, and we see God’s hand in the largest ministry of our parish—St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School. Our school belongs to and is the responsibility of the entire parish. Because of stewardship, active tithing member families of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church may attend the school under stewardship.
