Tomorrow (Saturday, 3/11) we kick off our Scholastic Spring Happy Camper Book Fair, “S’more Fun With Books!”with a Family Shopping Day from 9am-12pm in the Media Center.  This is a wonderful opportunity for working parents to shop with their children.  Coffee and doughnuts will be provided!Student Shopping Days: March 13-16 

Girls who Code! August University Cyber Institute is offering a program for all girls in 6th- 12th grade in which they will explore computer science. Meetings will be held at Augusta University in University Hall Rm 131. They will meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday beginning March 23rd, 6-8 pm. GOLF TOURNAMENT –The 25th Annual Monsignor Costigan-St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Forest Hills Golf Club. Lunch is served at 12:00 p.m., shotgun start is at 1:00 p.m., and the reception and dinner is at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the school’s Endowment Fund. Our Intermediate Vocabulary Parade is next Thursday, March 16th at 8:30am.  Parents of all grade levels are invited to attend!

Any parents of a 2nd grade through 8th grade girl interested in basketball camp may visit the Aquinas web site (aquinashigh.org).  From there, click on “Student Life,” then “Summer Camps,” then “Lady Irish Basketball Camp.”  We are excited to offer 3 days filled with instruction and an opportunity to put the skills learned to use.  We have a unique cost structure- only $60 until April 31; $75 from May 1st through May 30th; $100 any date after that.

CHECKMATE! – We are starting Chess Club at St. Mary’s for second through fifth grade students. Beginners are welcome. The tentative plan is to meet once a week on Monday from 2:50 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are looking for parents to help teach club members how to play the game.
