Thank you to all of you who donated canned goods at last week’s CSS Canned Food Drive.  The supply at Catholic Social Services had gotten very low, and they were very appreciative of all the SMS donations.  The following homerooms brought in the most canned goods for their department, and will be awarded with a hat day* on Wednesday, September 13th: Early Childhood: KA, Primary: 3C, Intermediate: 4A, and Junior High: 8C.

This week we raised $1173.21 for Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts.  Thank you to all of our students and parents who donated money and participated in our crazy socks and sneaker day!

8th Grade Parents: Your child is in their final year at St. Mary’s and there are so many wonderful things happening and so many memories to be made.  It is a tradition at SMS for each child in 8th grade to submit a baby picture of themselves to be added to a page in the yearbook.  We need all baby pictures submitted by November 1st!! You also can place a recognition ad in the yearbook to show your 8th grader how proud you are of them!  Deadline for 8th grade ad submission is December 22nd, 2017!!

SAVE THE DATE for OCTOBER 20th-21st: St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School presents our 2017 Fall Carnival "Chills and Thrills on the Hill". This is a fun filled weekend for one and all!  Friday evening is our adults only Auction Party with a fantastic auction.  Saturday is family fun day at the Carnival with games, prizes, food and fun. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend!  This is our ONLY FUNDRAISER of the year so we will need volunteers to help out with many things in order to make this a fantastic event.  We are looking for sponsorships and donations for the auction as well.  If anyone has a business or service that they are willing to offer a gift card for, we'd love to include it in our auction! If you have an item to donate to our auction, we'd love to have it! Also, families can do a sponsorship in honor of their children or in memory of a loved one.  Please contact Carter Welsh to donate, sponsor, or volunteer at This email address is being protected from spambots.
