Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)

Our PTO is open to all school families.  The PTO sponsors many activities throughout the year including academic and cultural events for the students.

You do not have to pay dues or participate in fundraisers to join the PTO.  The PTO gives parents, faculty, and school administration the opportunity to stay connected with exciting developments at our school.  Meetings are held every two months.  We encourage all parents to attend.

The PTO has only one school fundraiser each year.  That’s it!  It is our fabulous annual school carnival that is held in October.  It is  a fun time for everyone, and everyone is invited – even if you are not a school family.  The carnival includes a raffle, a silent auction, good food, and fun games.  Stay tuned to our website for more carnival news!

School Advisory Council

St. Mary’s School Advisory Council (SAC) meets once each quarter to discuss matters of concern to parents and/or staff. The council is made up of the presidents and vice presidents of the PTO, the principal, the assistant principal, two teachers, and a representative appointed by Fr. Ragan, our Pastor.

You can submit an item for the agenda one week prior to a scheduled meeting.  Your item will be added to the agenda.  You will then present your item to the council during the meeting.  SAC meeting minutes and outcomes are presented at the PTO meetings.

Parents are encouraged to attend our PTO and SAC meetings as we strive to make St. Mary’s the best that it can be!
